Circling Studios in Residence at Delight Factory, Brooklyn

From Delight Factory:

✨🚀✨ ARTIST RESIDENCY ANNOUNCEMENT: It’s a Circling Summer! ✨☀️✨

We’re thrilled to announce the Artist Residency of Circling with an exhibition and programs all through July at Delight Factory!

Circling is a publication, artist collective, and event studio charting the rhythms of the artist’s life. Founded by Lynnette Therese Sauer and Krystiana Kosobucki-Howell and inspired by years of conversation about the creative process, Circling Studios provides opportunities for artists to share not just the work they make but what makes it possible.

Through longform artist interviews, intimate workshops and events, and supportive professional development, Circling excavates the physical, financial, spiritual, and relational scaffolding that supports each artist’s practice.

During their month-long residency at Delight Factory, Krystiana and Lynnette curate Circling Studios’ first exhibition highlighting the work of featured artists, entitled Circling in Situ. True to Circling’s ethos, this exhibition attempts to contextualize the finished artwork in the context of the artist’s daily life.

We look forward to seeing you in July!

Upcoming Workshop — Sustaining Art in the Home: A Zine Exploration

I’m excited to be facilitating a field trip for CreativeMornings alongside my friend and Circling collaborator Krystiana Kosobucki-Howell in a couple weeks. In our newsletter, we’re asking artists the question, “how do you create a home in which art can survive”? This free, virtual workshop will explore the same question – we’ll walk through some prompts for reflection together while creating a mini zine. All are welcome, whether or not you consider yourself an *artist*. I’d love to see you there!
