hello!

My personal art-making moves primarily between painting and drawing, with pattern as a frequent point of departure. Creative rituals form an analogue for developing or interrogating spiritual practices. I am interested in the processes of attention, embodiment, and communion; I am still learning.

Originally from the Midwest, I now live and make in Brooklyn, NY, and work on the Programs & Engagement team at the Rubin Museum of Art.

If you’re interested in my work, please visit LinkedIn or my artist cv. Say hi at lynnettetherese@gmail.com (or lsauer@rubinmuseum.org for museum-related notes).
