Upcoming Workshop — Sustaining Art in the Home: A Zine Exploration

I’m excited to be facilitating a field trip for CreativeMornings alongside my friend and Circling collaborator Krystiana Kosobucki-Howell in a couple weeks. In our newsletter, we’re asking artists the question, “how do you create a home in which art can survive”? This free, virtual workshop will explore the same question – we’ll walk through some prompts for reflection together while creating a mini zine. All are welcome, whether or not you consider yourself an *artist*. I’d love to see you there!

Circling IRL: a zine workshop in Brooklyn

I’m really looking forward to hosting this Circling IRL workshop next weekend (Saturday, September 23, 6-8pm) – through discussion and artmaking, we’ll explore the ways we make and sustain a creative life. Whether you consider yourself an artist or not, this will be a fun evening of conversation and creativity (and pizza 🍕), and I hope you’ll join us!

Tickets are $15 and registration is required. Learn more, and register here:

Can’t make it on Saturday? Each issue of our biweekly newsletter features an artist interview about the intersections of domestic life and artistic practice. Start reading today at circlingcircling.substack.com
