Art in the Garden 2025

We had a great third season of Art in the Garden at Patchen Community Square this season. I love sharing the space and the chance to make something together with my neighbors and all who stop by the garden during our sessions. I experimented with providing more specific projects / prompts for each week, and liked that approach. Here are some photos of what this year looked like — stay tuned for season four coming in 2026!

🍅 Art in the Garden is a series of free, all-ages, drop-in artmaking workshops created and hosted by garden member and artist Lynnette Therese Sauer at Patchen Community Square in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn.

I’m really looking forward to hosting this Circling IRL workshop next weekend (Saturday, September 23, 6-8pm) – through discussion and artmaking, we’ll explore the ways we make and sustain a creative life. Whether you consider yourself an artist or not, this will be a fun evening of conversation and creativity (and pizza 🍕), and I hope you’ll join us!
