sketchbook year đź’« 1-7

My birthday was last week, and my goal is to make at least 365 drawings in my sketchbook this year of being 33 and doubling down on my commitment to creating my art. Some days might hold multiple sketchbook pages, others zero — working toward overall consistency in this practice rather than prioritizing a daily streak. Here’s my first week! Mostly spent in Arizona visiting family.

I will share these weekly here (lynnettetherese.com/blog) on Tuesdays throughout the year, and if you want a reminder I’ll link them out in my monthly art newsletter — you can subscribe here to receive those in your inbox. ♡

PeepSpace Flat File 2024/25

Two of my colored pencil drawings are currently on view at PeepSpace in Tarrytown, NY as part of the gallery’s fourth iteration of its flat file program. I had the chance to visit for the opening reception last weekend and enjoyed meeting fellow artists and the gallery’s new co-directors.

The exhibition continues through December 7, and all pieces will remain available for viewing or purchase throughout the year in the gallery’s flat file. To learn more or inquire, please contact peepspaceny@gmail.com.
